② “Movement” // Simple but solid joints not only makes them easy to build, but also allows them to move freely that able to create lots of poses.
③ “Simple but solid structure” // With clean and tight frame, the structure is strong and easy to build as well;
④“Details of facial expressions&traditional elements” // For our designer, The use of the part’s shape is important, especially under this size, the head’s side makes it difficult to use the parts to create the facial expression, but we still made it and apply the style into the other part of the body.

Long Yi series
This series’ mecha design was inspired by Chinese traditional characters from ancient story——Shan hai Jing（Classic of mountains and rivers):
Qinglong(Cyan Dragon);
Baihu(White Tiger);
Zhuque(Phoenix);
Xuanwu(Dark Turtle);
Based on these traditional characters’s elements, we further develop our concept with these, combining our understanding of mecha, all this 4 designs represent our aesthetic of robots—— Simplify, clean and tight, also with proper proportions between arms, legs and body.
Also, don’t forget, they are brick sets, the difficulty of achieving this are much harder then we thought at the beginning. But we are glad that we made it.
